The story of Puerto Rico's jibarita is one born from the dreams of a Puerto Rican girl named Velmarie Cintron Vazquez. After years of nurturing this dream, fate intervened with a call from Roberto Acevedo and Taesha Ayala, inviting her to turn this dream into reality. Velmarie faced a pivotal decision, leading her family to relocate from Puerto Rico to the welcoming embrace of Clermont, Florida – the chosen home for their restaurant. Roberto Acevedo shared a parallel dream of opening a restaurant with his wife, Taesha Ayala, and the stars aligned as they joined forces with Chef Velmarie Cintron Vazquez.
